So if this question were to come up with me in an intake with parents before we start with play therapy, I usually tell them to dress their kiddo in something that the parents would feel comfortable with them getting messy in if possible. As you see, we have paints. We have our little crafting table, so that means markers, glue. We even have sand. We have a lot of things that can promote creativity for kiddos. So wearing something that is a little bit more acceptable to get dirty, per se, I always recommend that.
